Bowerham Kids’ Club was established in 2011 to provide high quality wraparound provision at Bowerham Nursery and Primary School. Initially this was just breakfast and after school club. However, we soon expanded to include holiday provision to local primary age children. First and foremost, we are a play-based setting and follow the Playwork principles to make the environment safe, engaging and accessible to children so that they are able to learn and develop through play.

We currently provide 40 places for breakfast club, 80 for after school and 60 for holiday club. During term time, we provide breakfast and after school club for children that attend Bowerham Nursery and Primary School. From September 2024 we will be introducing yearly contracts that will consist of a one off up front annual payment in order to avoid the increase of fees. 

We open for dome of the school holidays for local children aged 2-12 years old (see MagicBooking for details on available dates). We pride ourselves in making children from other schools being made to feel welcome and included. We are an Ofsted registered setting and we have a large team, consisting of a core group of staff, apprentices, volunteers and students, all managed by Suzannah Keeves and Sam Brand. The club offers lots of fun and interesting things to do and we have a range of brilliant indoor and outdoor spaces, including the trim trail, the field, the Multi Use Games Arena and a large playground.

We also operate ad hoc bookings with 10 places for both breakfast club and after school club. These are first come first served and bookable with 24 hours notice.
